Maximise Your Budget: Introducing Our Cost-Effective Wax Pouches!

If you follow us on social media you will see our recent post about our new wax pouches.

We've been looking to change our packaging on the wax melt packs for various reasons mainly because how much they crease so easily and with me having OCD it drives me insane!

After loads of research and ordering samples, I settled on a free standing pouch made from kraft paper and bioplastics such as PLA, which makes it sustainable and industrially compostable.

An added bonus is it stands up on its own making it easier to display in our little shop and hopefully our stockists shelves too. I wish they had them in white but you cant win all the time!

Originally they was going to be filled with our normal wax melts but I wanted a way to offer more wax for your money so I found by cutting out the dye for the colours and not pouring into pretty tiny shapes (which believe me is very fiddly and time consuming) it cut down the making time considerably.

A standard wax melt pack weighs in at around 40g and costs £3.50 and the pouch weighs in at around 150g and costs £7.00! Obviously they are all hand made and so weights do vary but you get the idea. and you can see a pouch is a lot more value for money!

We are going to trial these for the time being before we invest in new label designs and sizing, so any opinions on them please let us know, for now though they do have the small wax melt labels on them.

We have also added a wooden spoon as an extra, but in all fairness an old teaspoon works just as well so we've kept the spoon optional (because its cute).

To use all you have to do is scoop out your required amount of wax and add it to your warmer, just make sure you only use the appropriate amount for the size of your warmer dish to avoid overflow.
